Jackson Rowe Supports The HCTA I-Construct Event

28 October 2026

Jackson Rowe was delighted to support the Hampshire Construction Training Association (HCTA) at their I-Construct event, held at South Hampshire College Group’s CETC and CEMAST Centres.

The event welcomed over 900 students from Years 7-11, representing 45 secondary schools across Hampshire, providing a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation of construction professionals.

Throughout the event, students worked collaboratively on a construction project, interviewed industry professionals, researched career pathways, and presented their findings to a judging panel in a Dragons’ Den-style challenge.

Head of Employment & Skills, Harry Rippon represented Jackson Rowe as a member of the judging panel alongside volunteers from across the industry, while Elinor Harvey, Jackson Rowe’s Employment & Skills Coordinator, delivered briefings and supported the students throughout the two-day event.

Reflecting on the experience, Monika Wandzik of Stelling Properties said:

“It was actually really fun to take part; it’s quite uplifting talking to the next generation.”

We thoroughly enjoyed being part of such a far-reaching initiative, connecting with young people, educators, and fellow employers from across the construction sector. Events like these play a vital role in showcasing the exciting opportunities available within our industry and inspiring future talent.

A huge thank you to HCTA and everyone involved in making the event such a success.
