#TimeToTalk at Jackson Rowe
Time to Talk Day, arguably the nation’s most significant mental health conversation, is an annual event that brings together friends, families, communities, and workplaces. Organised by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, in collaboration with the Co-Op this day serves as a crucial platform for initiating conversations about mental health.
Jackson Rowe’s committed Mental Health First Aider, Sandy Barnes revealed that statistically 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem at some point in their life and said “it is often simpler to say we’re ‘fine’ than delve into the complexities of our mental states”. Passionate about wellbeing and mental health, Sandy’s aim is to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable discussing mental health whenever they need to.
Today Sandy invited Jackson Rowe to seize the opportunity to start meaningful conversations about mental health and pave the way for a more empathetic and supportive future – #timetotalk.
