Terry is a dedicated construction professional with over 35 years' experience and proven track record of successfully delivering a diverse range of high value construction projects, in Building, Civil Engineering, Ports, Power, Rail, Infrastructure, Water, Leisure, Commercial and Residential Sectors.
Terry is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and has considerable experience in the construction industry acting as Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager, Construction Manager and Project Planner. Terry has led / managed project teams to successfully deliver large and complex projects, together in excess of $5 billion internationally.
Terry’s extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor involves extensive expertise in utilising various forms of standard and bespoke forms of building contract, including FIDIC, NEC, JCT, JBCC and GCC suites of contracts, he possesses in-depth knowledge of their application across complex projects. As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, he has strong commercial focus and has been responsible for the commercial management of multiple high-value infrastructure projects. Terry is well versed in developing project specific cost management strategies and is especially skilled in change management on major projects.
Terry has held senior roles in the procurement and delivery of major infrastructure projects, including ports, rail and multiple power generation projects – fossil fuel and green energy projects, including wind, solar and BESS. Terry is an expert in a range of procurement models, from conventional procurement to EPC, DBO, D&G and others. Terry has assisted in the successful procurement of many projects.
Terry’s extensive experience as an on-site Project Manager / Construction Manager has resulted in Terry’s strong ability to assess the buildability of projects to ensure practical, efficient and commercial sound project delivery and experience called upon in relation to his Expert Witness services.
Terry has extensive experience of Expert Delay Analysis which flows from his wide experience of programming for a variety of projects. Terry is highly proficient in planning software combined with exceptional skills in planning programming and project scheduling.
