With over 30 years’ experience, including Head of Engineering for an award-winning contractor, Jon has delivered in a wide range of sectors including infrastructure, rail, energy, buildings and highways. Jon has led large, multi-disciplinary teams of designers and engineers, managing key functions including quality, document control and planning. He has acted as Designated Individual – the person responsible for overseeing all temporary works within a business.

Jon effectively implements engineering solutions, leading the design and delivery of complex projects from option selection through to construction and handover. As an Engineering Manager, he is experienced in identifying and resolving technical issues as well as leading negotiations between contract parties to resolve disputes.

Jon maintains a strong commitment to CDM regulations, with experience as the Principal Designer’s named representative. He is recognised for his collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement and interface management. Jon is actively engaged with the Institution of Civil Engineers as a Reviewer, Supervising Civil Engineer and for running graduate training schemes.
