Jackson Rowe Empowering the Future: Our Employment & Skills Visit to Redhill Academy

At Jackson Rowe we believe in nurturing talent and empowering the youth for a brighter future. On Friday, 6 October 2023 our dedicated Employment & Skills Coordinator, Harry Rippon, joined other likeminded volunteers at The Redhill Academy in Nottingham to support their Year 11 students in their mock interviews, aimed at equipping them with the skills and confidence needed for job and college interviews.

Harry Rippon, an experienced professional with a passion for guiding young people was welcomed with enthusiasm by the students and staff for a day dedicated to helping these young minds prepare for a crucial step in their academic and professional journey.

Interviews can be daunting for anyone, especially students stepping into the world of job applications and college admissions; Harry conducted mock interviews with a number of Year 11 students, offering invaluable advice and feedback to help them improve their interview skills. Each mock interview was an opportunity for the students to gain real-world experience and an insight into what employers, colleges and universities look for in candidates; Harry’s guidance was instrumental in building confidence and competence.

At Jackson Rowe, we’re committed to making a positive impact on the communities we serve; this visit is just one example of our dedication to provide young people with the skills and support they need and is a testament to our dedication to contribute to a brighter future for our youth and our society as a whole.
