Jackson Rowe Remembers on Armistice Day

11 November 2025

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, we pause to remember.

Armistice Day marks the moment in 1918 when the guns of the First World War fell silent. Today, we honour all who served – those who laid down their lives, those who returned home changed forever and those who continue to serve in the pursuit of peace. Their courage and sacrifice remind us of the true cost of war.

As we observe the 2-minute silence, we reflect not only on the past but our shared responsibility to build a peaceful future.

Lest we forget.
