Julian is a highly experienced forensic planning Expert Witness with over 38 years in the construction industry. Julian has specialised in delay analysis and forensic planning for over 17 years. During this time he has acted as expert witness or expert advisor to both claimant and respondent parties, on over 24 occasions. Julian has also been employed by several major contracting and professional services organisations over the course of his career.
Julian has deep practical experience in all aspects of the construction process, and has been employed to undertake strategic planning, design management, procurement management, construction management, contract management, due diligence and dispute resolution support. This wide and varied experience enables an understanding of complex delay issues from different perspectives, helping Julian to produce precise and convincing delay analyses and reports. His advice has, on numerous occasions, resulted in the successful recovery of a commercial position on distressed and ‘at risk’ projects. Julian has provided both oral and written Expert evidence in the Royal Courts of Justice and has been lauded for his contributions by his client’s legal team.
