Graham commenced his career by completing a 5 year Indentured Quantity Surveyor training scheme with an International Contractor and qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 1988. After working for International Contractors Graham started his own business in 1989 and subsequently joined Jackson Rowe in 1992. Graham has gained over 33 years experience of the construction industry; throughout the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Graham is a very experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor and, for the last 18 years, has worked in the construction industry at a senior level in the preparation, defence and negotiation of contractual claims and has providing commercial management services to contractors and sub-contractors. Graham is a Registered Adjudicator and is registered with the RICS Expert Witness Registration Scheme. Graham carries out Quantum Expert Witness services and is experienced in the giving of evidence in adjudications, arbitrations and litigation. Graham has experience in both English and Scottish jurisdiction.
Over his career Graham has been involved in the Building, Civil Engineering, Petro-Chemical, Facilities Management, Process Engineering, Infrastructure and Local Government sectors.
Along with fellow Directors, Graham is responsible for the management of staff working in all sectors of the property and construction sectors and is therefore working in live situations on a day to day basis. This provides hands on, up to date and relevant experience that can be relied upon in all commissions undertaken and particularly in Expert Witness or Adjudication appointments undertaken.
Graham has responsibility for delivering the commitment of Jackson Rowe with a ‘hands on’ involvement and the development of team individuals’ knowledge and expertise. Graham is a Counsellor for the RICS APC programme.
