Jackson Rowe Celebrates 20 Years
Jackson Rowe Swims Against the Tide
Jackson Rowe celebrated their 20th Anniversary (1989-2009) with style. To mark this special occasion a celebratory Champagne Dinner Cruise was held on board 'The Golden Jubilee' on the River Thames with Charles Hendry MP for Wealden as guest of honour (together with his Sallie).
The Dinner Cruise was attended by staff and friends and Jackson Rowe arranged for the London Eye to lit up in their corporate colours (purple) especially for the occasion which provided a great start to the evening before taking in the sights.
The cruise took in many sights along the Thames, including many projects that Jackson Rowe have been involved with. The magnificent site of Tower Bridge opening as the Jackson Rowe Party passed underneath, showed the usual Jackson Rowe impeccable sense of timing.
Our Managing Director ,Daniel Rowe founded Jackson Rowe on 1 October 1989, just as the country was about to go into recession (does this sound familiar?). Having survived and prospered Jackson Rowe have proven equally adept at surviving during the current economic downturn, due to the drive and determination of our four Directors, Daniel Rowe, Graham Harrison, Bob Hearnden and Duncan Hughes-Phillips.
During the current economic downturn the Jackson Rowe team and their work ethic has been much in evidence to guide and take the company safely through 2009.
We will continue to celebrate success and maintain a positive vision for the future and remain at the top of the construction.
Over the past 20 years Jackson Rowe are proud of their ability to grow the business from within. A good example during these difficult times is Duncan Hughes - Phillips who started as a Trainee with Jackson Rowe in 1992 and was promoted to position of Director in March 2009.
Jackson Rowe continue their journey upstream against the current economic trend and look forward to continuing on the crest of a wave for the next 20 years.
